The right to be human is personal

Our Commitment
At Glassmoon Services, our commitment to improving quality of life is at the heart of everything we do. We don’t just focus on a diagnosis; we prioritise a person-centred approach, involving the People We Support and their family in each step, tailoring our care and support to their unique needs.

Breaking Down Barriers

We are resolute about breaking down barriers and removing discrimination, bias and health inequalities. We co-create human rights led services, promote social inclusion, and advocate for the rights and opportunities of both the People We Support, and the broader neurodivergent community.

Our Methodology

We focus on improving the quality of life for individuals, their families and our colleagues through empathy and shared experiences.

Our approach is underpinned by the PERMA framework (Positive Emotion, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning, Accomplishment) and the Glassmoon Pathway of Life. The PERMA framework helps us set goals and track progress to continuously improve quality of life.

The Pathway of Life helps connect the dots to be experience sensitive and trauma aware from past experiences to look at the current context and ensure care and support plans are aligned to meet needs. Whilst always creating the opportunity for the People We Support to live their best lives going forward into the future.

Safety and Dignity: Least Restrictive Practices

We use least restrictive practices to ensure safety and dignity, using tailored support plans and risk assessments. Our approach is strengthened through collaboration with the Restraint Reduction Network (RRN) and the British Institute of Learning Disabilities (BILD), aligning with best practices in the field. Our carefully planned transition generates meaningful connection from the outset.

Care and Compassion at the Heart

Our ethos in Glassmoon Services is being in service to others, making what we do more than a job; it’s a vocation that requires empathy, patience, and a deep commitment to changing people’s lives. By understanding the unique story and diverse experiences of each Person We Support our team members can provide personalised care and support that promotes interdependence and the right to live a meaningful life in their community.

Diversity and Inclusion

Building Stronger, Equitable Communities

Recognising that no journey is identical, we use co-production, partnership, and collaboration to ensure those delivering and receiving services become their authentic selves. Our approach is firmly rooted in the belief that diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplaces result in stronger communities.

By understanding and embracing the interconnections within our ecosystem, we create an environment where everyone can thrive, embrace possibilities, and unlock potential.

It is clear that the staff and Glassmoon Services have a strong person- centred approach with the care and support that they provide to their clients.
